We are filming a short 50 second part of the song Never be Another by Delilah. We started filming today and used the following equipment:
- Fig rig - used for the camera and didn't use a tripod because it's for a music video (lots of movement)
- Camera - to film (used a camcorder for more features, better quality)
- Light - adding artificial light makes the music video look better
- Speaker - played the song by connecting the speaker to a phone so our performer could follow the song so she could lip sync
Although this is a trial and not our actual coursework music video, we've come to terms with how to film and how much footage we need (A LOT) so we can work with the editing and production of the video. Our performer (Julie) was luckily very confident so we were able to quickly film and also film in public places (including on the road and parks).
What needs to be done now?
- Edit our footage
- Complete the music video
- Blog our progress
