Who would you want your artist to be signed to and why?

We would want Saffron to be signed to Virgin  Records, because they are a mainstream record label. The majority of pop artists begin on mainstream record labels. Virgin Records have worked with artists such as Ella Eyre, Bastille and a range of artists.

Would your song be available for internet download only? if so, why?
Our song would be available for internet download (iTunes/own website) so it can reach a range of platforms easily and connect to devices. We would also release snippets of it on YouTube and Soundcloud to excite people, give them snippets of our song so they anticipate the release. We have to build up her fan base by releasing easily accessible music and engaging with our audience. We would also release physical copies, the first 100 signed - to engage with the fans.

Will you be signed to a major or independent label?
We would be signed to a mainstream label as pop artists are rarely signed to independent labels. This will allow us to have more exposure and therefore make Saffron "successful" as she already has a well known label and money behind her.
