Production of Ancillary Work: Screenshots of work in progress

Added the photos, making sure the background was removed so it was white. I had to add PNG pictures for the lips and bar code etc.
The bar code and record label logo was placed on the back of the CD cover. The small print was also added for copyright etc.
The second part for the digipak - the actual CD.
The circle had to fit into the square perfectly as a conventional size for CDs.
I used a black one at first
Placing a white one on top gave it the illusion of an outline for the CD
I had to make sure the hole for the CD was perfectly in the middle
Put the lips behind the circle so it would be cut out when made. It is the synergy and makes it recognisable when the audience see it.
The same font as the front with the same positioning of the album name too
Conventional to have the record label details and when it was printed etc.
Must be on the CD - didn't have to be too big but must be placed perfectly on the edge of a CD
Photo I used for the inside
Placing it in such a way that it fills up the cover and doesn't get off by the spine of the CD either

I then used the synergy of the lips around the artist in different sizes. It gave it a "fun" and conventional "pop" look to it.
